Anti-justice special interests don’t give an inch, but KTLA doesn’t, either, thanks to KTLA’s Eagles Program. The Eagles assure that KTLA is a powerful voice for Kansas trial lawyers in the Statehouse, the media, and during elections. Although KTLA is the smallest trial lawyer association in the region, the battles it fights are just as serious as those fought in neighboring states. Eagles support assures KTLA can punch above its weight by:
- Defeating or neutralizing practice-changing legislation.
- Protecting critical appellate victories from legislative intrusion.
- Championing a positive-change agenda that includes elimination of wrongful death caps and reform of UIM laws.

- Working to improve justice majorities through KTLA CJ PAC.

The Kansas Trial Lawyers Association is a 501(c)(6) non-profit association (EIN 48-0787989). KTLA's membership year is April 1 through March 30. Thirty percent (30%) of membership dues including Eagles dues are used for KTLA's non-deductible legislative and lobbying activities. One hundred percent (100%) of voluntary contributions to political action committees, including KTLA CJ PAC and AAJ PAC, are used for non-deductible campaign activities and contributions.
