The Kansas Trial Lawyers Association is a nonprofit organization of Kansas trial lawyers. KTLA provides exclusive benefits and services to its members so that they may excel as litigators. Convening sections and listserves, publishing the Journal of the Kansas Trial Lawyers Association, and holding its Annual Meeting & CLE Seminar, are a few of the ways KTLA serves its members’ unique professional needs. Just as its members are advocates, so is KTLA. At the Kansas Legislature and through its Amicus Curiae Committee KTLA seeks laws embracing accountability and fairness, and the protection of the constitutional right to trial by jury and independent courts. KTLA has adopted the Kansas Bar Association's Pillars of Professionalism as an endorsed set of aspirational guidelines for its membership.
